Stephen uses a doll of a hooker and a bong to reenact the press conference with Chad Hedrick and Shani Davis about Davis' refusal to not skate in the team pursuit this year in order to pursue his own training for the 1000 Meter Speed Skating. Tonight's segment of The Word is "Absolutely Maybe", where he talks about the United Arab Emirates port deal and Pres. Bush's thought process on arriving at the decision to approve it. A segment of Threat Down gives the top 5 "threat downs": Roommates, Cereal, Jews, Knowledge and Gay Adoption. Stephen interviews Michael Eric Dyson, African-American scholar and author of the book: Come Hell or High Water: Hurricane Katrina & The Color Of Disaster. They discuss how race and poverty played a part in the response to the disaster.
