Evil billionaire Abraham Kane rules Detroit Deluxe, a once-struggling auto-town that he has turned into his own personal kingdom. Banning freedoms such as automobile transportation, Kane faces one obstacle: a group of hot-rod rebels who call themselves The Burners. Led by Mike Chilton, The Burners work to stop Kane from conquering Detroit Motorcity is an American animated television series created and directed by Chris Prynoski. It is produced by Titmouse, Inc. and Disney Television Animation. The series premiered on April 30, 2012 on Disney XD.
