Donna is catapulted into the Emergency Department to help out. Mads joins the team as a new nurse. Maria, who has an injury to her arm is treated by Jeff and Dixie and Jeff flirts with the girl and they arrange to meet later. After a runner is brought in to casualty it soon becomes clear that both him and Maria have been shot with ball bearings fired from an air rifle.
